This Volkswagen is also no longer what it used to be and it‘s quite dark here, isn‘t it?

I don‘t think so.

The cold banks are sporadically occupied. Some of the locals sneak around like me, looking for a seat with the longest possible distance to all those already seated. Suddenly it is bright, the sunrise here is as romantic as someone who taps on a light switch in a dark room. The bright thing is there, the temperature rises abruptly around ten degrees. I see two nervous squirrels, which usually eat nuts but also young birds directly from the nests.

A ferry is arriving, but it‘s not ours.

I go to the barber. I used to cut my hair myself. A professional scissor for hair-cutting costs 500 € at least and I pay 29 € for my haircut. If I am satisfied, the young woman wants to know. Even though I do not look like on the photos, she showed me before, it’s not bad. Thanks for the tea, I say although I didn‘t want any tea at all. The fully automated coffee machine in the back of the shop wouldn’t have made good coffee, I think.

I hope the weather will be better soon.

The new suede sneakers are white and have to be worn off by dancing. Than they will not be so white anymore, but also not that stubborn.

In the autumn the weather is very bad.

Two women - who seem to be young from behind - are inviting into their white party tent for reading the bible. The corner of the upholstery is covered with velour and stands next to one of the cold benches. I choose one of the two completely unoccupied benches. As my goal gets closer a man appears with his shepherd. The dog looks young without being a puppy and the owner carries all the attributes of a torn-down guy hanging around in such places and drinking beer. Only the beer and its severity, the self-trimmed hair, the leathery cowl, the wollen jumper and the lace-up boots are looking fresh like after a shower.

In the past everything was worse, worse, worse

The air-conditioning system is hardly a fainting bow to the concept of room air conditioning. Typing...

How about this: The light of the world comes from some place, and your own excess becomes dust.

Still typing...

Or: Such beliefs only exist briefly in the cloak of the emerging generation even if we try to stay longer. They simply disappear in the inescapable sometime of contemporary feedback loops.

Are you hungry? I would like to eat something, something baked, made of dough.

The dog jumps up and sniffs at a wheeled walker.

Or: Living is a commodity, of course - like everything else.

The walker complains moderately motivated, the dog owner makes a friendly effort: conversation, he only wants to sniff and doesn‘t bite, sit! Demolition waste falls through a construction slide, a baby is complaining in his Bogaboo Donkey Duo.

Or: When growing up does not feel like a new generation emerging but like a brief nervous revolt in the ground-plan of a normative middle class.

I should have shaved myself. But I knew my shaving foam was almost empty. You put the can onto the palm of your hand and the can is fizzling and whizzing, you realize it will be enough for the couple of stubbles but the fear that it actually wouldn’t be kills the beautiful feeling of a freshly smoothed face.

I will not miss my plane. I fly to L. A., directly into the self-actualising projection area of Central European artists who are annoyed by the idea of Berlin where one could mix the colored laundry with white whishy-washy T-shirts in the 90s and anybody cared.

Or: What stands for us: not less than nothing.

The weather is dull and the last leaves moulder on the tarp of a swimming pool that is not mine. I should hurry up now.

Or: You want to do something but there is no space for it except for the children's room which is financed by your parents.

But also from Munich to Hamburg: Kebab shops are picking up the aesthetics of contemporary burger eateries including the black rubber glove and the manikins in our heads are now from Fritz Cola.

Or: Such beliefs only exist briefly in the cloak of the emerging generation even if we try to stay longer. They simply disappear in the inescapable sometime of contemporary feedback loops. Or: The light of the world comes from some place, and the excess of one‘s own self becomes dust. Or: We will not never become adults but have to grow up forever.
