Imminger and Barsch began working on collaborative canvases in early 2022, sending them back and forth by mail between southern and eastern Germany, folded. One would start with motifs ironed on, the other would respond, add something, and continue. Minimal moves were made. Nothing bold. Recycling of older works that had languished in the past. Re-examined and re-wired to new moods, meta-roofed by a vague sadness and newly framed by color.
