A specific relation of time and space is the leitmotif of the presented exhibition. The artist transfers the fleeting form of the sketch into durable material creating the objects that are the memory of landscape. It draws attention to the rapidly occurring changes in the environment in the era of uncontrolled human expansion. "Timescape" is also the title of science fiction book by Gregory Benford released in 1980. It tells the story about a group of scientists living in 1998 who are desperately trying to pass on important message to scientists from the past. This is the only way to warn them of an impending ecological disaster which will absorb the oceans.
